Surface plasmon resonance biosensor based on engineered proteins for direct detection of interferon-gamma in diluted blood plasma
Original language description
We present a novel surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor for direct detection of human interferon gamma (hIFN). The biorecognition elements for hIFNare engineered proteins derived from albumin binding domain (ABD). Two methods for the immobilizationof ABD are compared: covalent coupling and immobilization via streptavidin?biotin interaction. The developed biosensor provides rapid and sensitive platform for the detection of hIFN at subnanomolar levels both in buffer and diluted human plasma.
