The aim of the paper is to show examples of approaches to teaching and training human resources management at Czech universities for undergraduates and postgraduates students. As example we analyse long term experiences in teaching human resources management in study programmes of safety, regional and educational management and the application of principles in some one-semester projects and bachelor and diploma theses for students in the Bachelor and Masters of The College of Regional Development and at the Faculty of education Charles university in study programme Management of Education. The goal of paper is to analyse different approaches in teaching HRM for three different study programmes of applied management.
