Laboratory diagnostics takes the important place in allergic diseases diagnosis. Tests for allergen-specific IgE determination are the most utilized ones in practice but widely accessible are also test for determination of other humoral immunity components. Biological tests for allergy diagnostics describe allergy response are more complex than self-standing humoral factors and are also available. The right indication and interpretation of laboratory tests used in the allergy diagnostics based on current knowledge is benefical for physicians. The overview of these tests is the purpose of this article.
