    Immobilization of heavy metals ions using altered bituminous coals

  • Original language description

    Sorption behaviour of lead (II), cuprum (II) and cadmium (II) on coals have been studied with respect to reveal the principal immobilization mechanism. Specific adsorption have been certained as the main type of the heavy metals immobilization, the nature of which being seen in the ion exchange process. Non-specific interactions are of less importance in the such a sorption behaviour.
