Original language description
Specifics of education of gifted pupils are being (in the context of educational reform in the Czech Republic) currently widely discussed. Schools that fail to create adequate and sufficiently challenging learning environment for gifted students with a wide range of interesting subject matters, can not meet one of the basic requirements for the care for exceptionally gifted pupils. The requirement mentioned is the elimination of boredom and frustration of being in school where the gifted students do notwork with the information that would significantly enrich their existing knowledge. The solution of this problem - to create an analytical-synthetic model of the educational process for the gifted student and by means of such model to offer a global conception of education for gifted students.
