    Practical Component in the Preparation of Future Primary School Teachers From the Point of View of Students

    Our undergoing research is focused on the field of study Teaching for Primary Schools - Level 1 at Pedagogical faculty of University of Ostrava. The aim of the research is a qualitative and quantitative change in the concept of the professional undergraduate preparation of the mathematics teaching. In this paper, the part of the research of expectations of the undergraduate students from the practical aspects of a preparation in a mathematics teaching for the first level of primary schools is presented. These expectations are consisted of an identification of incentives, motives and motivations of the undergraduate students for the purposes of an improvement of the approach to the mathematics teaching. The experiences and expectations of students - the future teachers - are investigated before and after their professional practice using the method of a questionnaire construction. We identified common phenomena in selected responses that students put in the questionnaires, and based on this criterion, we have created classes of phenomena.A. Experience: breakdown into "stories with children", "lessons", 'encouragement of experience, experience raises doubts'.Personal Career Development: 'sorting out my doubts', 'my fear', 'my weaknesses', 'my strengths'.C. Own practice - sort by who is involved: 'general', 'faculty supervising teacher', 'primary school teacher'.D. Own practice - sorting according to what the phenomenon is about: 'what does the practice do not know', 'what the practice will offer', 'what the practice is doing'.
