Original language description
The paper focuses on the current problem of pupils' creativity as a factor influencing reading of artistic texts. The article aims to reflect, describe, analyse, evaluate different manifestations of pupils' creativity (e.g. visual, literary, musical) and their relationship to the development of reading strategies of secondary technical schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic pupils. The text presents the selected results of the quantitative questionnaire research focused on identifying the relationship of pupil's creativity as a factor influencing their reading strategies. The partial goal is to point out the factors contributing to the development of creative and critical thinking in the current representatives of the so-called digital generation in 21st-century society.
