Carried out over a 20-year period, the main goal to investigate the protective factors of resilience was ti define those factors found in coping with stressful situations for participants from a problematic primary family enviroment. The study was conducted wih Czech and Slovak university teachers in the years 2002 to 2021 (number of participants: Czech Republic-97, Slovakia 27). The participants come from vulnerable primary families with the following risks: low solidarity beetwen family members, weak bond beetwen parents and participants, low tendency to communicate togedher, prevailling authoritative patriarchal control and a lack of emotional support from parents from parents in stressful situations.
