The paper presents a basic description of the special translation modules (chassis) of mobile service robot. From this point of view a basic division of these suitable translation modules is carried out and a possibility of basic practical application isshown. A more detailed attention in paid to the translation modules as are construction of special wheel chassis. Construction of the wheel chassis we can use for technology as manipulation, service activity, monitoring etc.
