Actual problems of transport information centres introduction in this paper have been described. Growth of vehicles number in the Czech Republic is evident in last years. Road construction is time-consuming and has high financial demands. Advanced telematics system solution is necessary to follow. Information is now more important for drivers. The important problems for drivers are the traffic congestions. However the drivers can accommodate their own way and save a time using traffic information. Timesave impacts on economy, accident frequency and last but not least on environment. Actual technical solutions are able to get authentic information the other ones can provide information to the users. The main problems are functional interconnection of traffic information and distribution of exist traffic information to drivers.
