    Control of robotic ball using mobile device

  • Original language description

    This paper describes the design and development of the mobile application to control Sphero robotic ball. This application is designed to measure and record the distance achieved. The paper describes the different parts of a robotic ball and its control functions, using several criteria compares already available applications for robotic ball, describes possibilities for development of a software for the mobile devices and development of own application for robotic ball. The application is described using UML and used design methods are defined in separate chapters. Last part of the paper presents results of the experimental measurements of the robotic ball's movement.
