UTILISATION OF IN-CYLINDER PRESSURE ANALYSIS FOR COMBUSTION ENGINE SIMULATION MODEL CALIBRATION

  • Original language description

This paper deals with the measurement and analysis in-cylinder pressure indication of spark ignition internal combustion engine, in particular the use of suitable methods and procedures leading to the possibility of validation and calibration of simulation models of combustion engines. High-pressure and low-pressure indication has become, in recent years, due to the development of measurement technology, important analytical tool used to optimize the combustion process. The paper is focused on the methodology to evaluate in-cylinder high pressure indication in terms of use suitable indicators for calibration of the cycle of internal combustion engine in a mathematical simulation model.
