Original language description
This article deals with problems of air pollution by organic compounds in the Most region. In focuses on volatile organic compounds and PAHs. It evaluates the progress of air pollution using these compounds in the period 2004-2008. Based on the evaluatedresults it is demonstrated that the presence of ozone is relevant to the content of nitrogen in the air. VOCs also play a large role in ozone formation. Further, based on the linear correlation coefficient, the ability of PAHs to bind with particulate matter is described. At the conclusion it evaluates the progress in air pollution and current situation concerning the forementioned pollutants in the area of interest.
