    The chapter deals with utilization of brown coal with high sulfur content. It describes a complex application of coal desulphurization methods making use of Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans bacteria, followed by pyrolysis of the desulphurized coal and a consequent use of the obtained pyrolytic oils in the flotation of coal slurry as flotation reagents.
