Experimental part of this paper is focused on coagulation reagents testing in order to ensure a more effective separation of solid phase coming from the waste product from agricultural biogas plants. In this context the first part of the paper describesanaerobic digestion and digestate, mentions the characteristics of waste product coming from anaerobic digestion from agricultural biogas plants and also the current trends in waste treatment. Tested coagulation reagents are aqueous solution of ferric chloride and ferric sulphate, these two reagents are also tested in combination with calcium hydroxide suspension. Testing was processed mainly in samples of fugate. Input concentration of COD in fugate was 25,800 mg/l. Concentrations in treated samples after coagulation and separation was about 200 mg/l. Overall results were following: The optimum of efficient dose corresponds to 0.2 multiple of the computed dose. So the determined amount of dilution water, which comprise only about 20%,
