    Microstructure Stability of the Creep Resistant Ni Alloy for Castings - Measuring method and Results

    In this paper the new method of the measuring and evaluation of the dendrite segregation of elements in the creep resistant Ni alloy for casting is described. By means of this method the reproducible estimation of heterogeneity index IH of the constitution and accompanying Ni alloy elements, their dendrite segregation curves, effective partition coefficients kef and the pair correlation coefficients r of elements is possible, in the measured section of structure. The measuring was realised in the following structure state of Ni alloy: in the cast state and after isothermal annealing at temperature 900 and 1000 °C (the time of the isothermal annealing: 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 hours). The changes of the mentioned parameters, which are a function ofboth the temperature and the isothermal annealing time, quantitative characterise the structure stability of Ni alloy and are discussed in this paper in details.
