The high temperature and long-time annealing effect on the chemical and structural heterogeneity of a Ni-superalloy
Original language description
The paper deals with the thermal annealing effect on redistribution of the selected elements (Al, Si, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni and W) in the structure of a creep resistant nickel-based alloy. This material is used for a mould of the cast of glass. Measurement of chemical microheterogeneity of elements was realized in as-cast state and after isothermal annealing at temperatures of 900, 1000 and 1100°C with annealing times from 5 to 1000 hours. In the analyses, an original method was applied and the concentrationsof elements were measured in 101 points of the structure. Measurement of the element redistribution was realised by means of the X-ray analytical equipment JEOL JXA 8600/KEVEX. The original mathematical model was used for determination of the effective partition coefficients of the analysed elements. The dependence of the calculated effective partition coefficients and the microheterogeneity indices on temperature and time of annealing is also expressed.
