    Grain refinement of Cu and Ni-Ti shape memory alloys by ECAP process

    This paper was aimed at verification of functionality of the ECAP technology at extrusion of the copper and Ni-Ti alloys. Cross-section of original samples was 8 x 8 mm and their length was 32 mm. The samples of Cu were extruded at room temperature. Forthe samples of Ni-Ti alloys was used the twostage pressing, when the samples were extruded at temperature of approx. T1 520 degree C and T2 = 420 degree C. In order to increase the concentration of deformation in volume of the sample, the samples were turned around their longitudinal axis by 90 degree after individual passes and they were extruded again. Analysis of structure was made by using of light microscopy

    Článek je věnovaný k ověření funkčnosti ETAP na protlačování slitin Cu a Ni-Ti. Příčný řez původníchj vzorků byl 8x8 mm a jejich délka 32mm. Vzorky mědi byly protlačované při pokojové teplotě. Pro vzorky slitin Ni-Ti bylo použito dvouprůchodové protlačování, kdy vzorky byly protlačované při teplotě cca T1 520 st. C a T2 = 420 st. C. V případě zvyšující se koncentrace nebo deformace v objemu vzorku, vzorky byly otočeny kolem jejich osy o 90 st. C po individuálních průchodech a znovu protlačeny. Byla provedena analýza struktury pomocí mikroskopu.
