Operators of facilities for high-temperature centrifugal galvanizing and their customers often encounter the phenomenon of reduced adhesion of the zinc coating on flat thin parts. They ask what is causing the coating to peel off and what should have been done differently. Sometimes they look for a way out of the problem in the technology of low-temperature centrifugal galvanizing, but at the cost of more frequent occurrence of coating defects. If the origin of this phenomenon is known, ways can be sought to successfully prevent it.
