The research was focused on the introduction of a chromatographic method for the detection of pesticidesand the subsequent monitoring of pesticides in surface waters, namely in the surroundings of Ostrava and Potštát.Solid phase extraction (SPE) using EnvirElut Pesticides extraction columns was used for sample preparation.Subsequent analysis was performed by liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) usinga Synergi Fusion RP column and 5 mM ammonium formate in methanol (MF A) and 5 mM ammonium formate inwater (MF B).
