Globalisation is a phenomenon characterising today's world where products, technologies, and services become worldwide known and demanded, businesses cross national borders. Higher education is probably the last area of human activities resisting that trend. A huge variety of study programmes and degrees exist, universities and other higher education institutions typically operate in relatively closed regions, number of migrating students is not very significant and inter-university co-operation not supported by any motivation mechanism remains poor. In spite of such rather pessimistic features some tendencies leading to globally perceived profiles in higher education appear. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) could be a positive example thathappened not through formal processes of inter-university or inter-governmental agreements, but rather spontaneously through the practical impact on industry, on business, which started to demand such study profile for the top or middle-l
