Original language description
In this paper a new model of economic potential based on gravity approach is proposed. The concept is compared with the concepts known from the literature and with the previous works of the authors. The proposed model is applied to the new regions NUTS3in the Czech Republic. Using real data in the model an influence of planned motorway D47 is investigated. The calculations by the model confirm the well-known fact that the new motorway will have a significant influence on the economic development of theMoravia-Silesia region.

V článku je uveden nový model ekonomického potenciálu regionu, jehož koncept je srovnáván s předchozími přístupy známými z literatury a z prací autorů. Nový model je aplikován na regiony NUTS3 v České republice. S využitím reálných dat je modelován vlivplánované dálnice D47 na ekonomický potenciál regionu Moravskoslezsko.
