The usage of the CRM concept is continuously increasing in both foreign and Czech companies. The objective of the CRM method is to create optimum conditions for customer satisfaction and at the same time to build competitive advantage for the company. Inmid-2005 marketing research was carried out as part of a Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) project; the objective of this research was to obtain up-to-date information about the knowledge and application of the CRM concept within Czech companies.
