How Cash Pooling Works in the Czech Republic
Original language description
Cash management structures have been developed in almost all the top companies in the Czech Republic with both foreign and domestic capital. A precise statistics: according to a survey prepared by the Czech Association of Corporate Treasurers (CAT) and Ernst and Young in 2006 - 65% of the companies organized in the CAT use cash pooling, 47% use cross-border cash pooling, and 35% multicurrency cash pooling. The objectives of cash management are straightforward - maximise liquidity and control cash flowsand maximise the value of funds while minimising the cost of funds. The strategies for meeting such objectives include varying degrees of liquidity planning requirements.
