The Implementation of Flexicurity Principles in the Czech Republic and the Position of Social Partners
Original language description
This article deals with the introduction of the Flexicurity concept based on the successfully Danish experiences made in the nineteen?s of 20th century ? Danish flexicurity model. This model has led to the significant decline of the unemployment rate inDenmark and in this way it has attracted attention of European institutions. Currently is this model considered as an appropriate instrument of labour market policy, which combines the high level of employment and the sustainability of national fiscal budgets in itself. The main goal of this model is to improve policy measures which address both the flexibility and security dimensions for workers and employers alike. However the European Social Partners emphasise that there is no one single model applicable for all 27 Member States of the EU, they agree that applied in the right way, the Flexicurity approach can create a win-win situation and be equally beneficial for employers and employees.
