The Analysis of the Influence of Residence in the Purchase of Pharmaceutical Products
Original language description
This paper analyzes the relationship between the purchase of pharmaceutical products in pharmacies and customer's residence. The customers can be from the city or from the village. In the first step is statisticaly detected differences between people ofthe town and village. And in the second step is detected probability of purchase for the residents of the city and for the residents of the village. There is used regression analysis, specifically logistic regression because dependent variable is binarynature. The analysis is conducted for five groups of medicaments: (1) medicines for immune support, (2) pharmacy cosmetics, (3) vitamins and minerals, (4) medicines to support the nervous system and (5) painkillers.
