Evaluation of eGovernment and Good Governance Development in EU Member Countries
Original language description
Good Governance is a contemporary trend in public administration worldwide. It is highlighting the efficiency, openness and transparency in the public affairs management. As the important factor of Good Governance is considered the application of ICT in public administration and the expansion of eGovernment, as the progressive element of public administration modernization. Presented article is focused on the evaluation of the interdependence between eGovernment and Good Governance development in the European Union (EU) countries. The interdependence of variables is investigated based on the results of eGovernment evaluation model using multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) methods (concrete TOPSIS method) and the values of WGI index monitored and processed by World Bank. Based on the usage of correlation and regression analysis was acknowledged the interdependency between eGovernment and Good Governance development in EU member countries.
