The study focuses on a European network of agents and merchants, which the Bishop of Olomouc, Karl von Lichtenstein-Castelcorno, had in various European destinations (eg Rome, Venice, Vienna, etc.). Thanks to these agents he remotely handled diplomatic, spiritual and business matters. The study brings completely new and never published information about extensive research of several years of archives of the bishop's correspondence. It shows the bishop's power strategies, everyday activities and sphere of influence.
