Generations X and Y at the labour market in the Czech Republic
Original language description
The paper deals with the topic of behaviour of Generation X and Generation of Millennials (also known as Generation Y) at labour market. In the near future it is assumed that the labour market will be formed particularly by these two generations. Millennials are still the most numerous generation and they are expected to have a majority part of the global labour force in the coming years. The working behaviour of representatives of these generations can have their specific features and it is closely linked with tacit knowledge because the final behaviour of workers is preceded by their specific thinking, belief, use of experience, abilities, and so on. The specifics that result from the differences in tacit knowledge between the Generation X and the Generation of Millennials can be reflected in the need for a different way of managing this knowledge effectively as well as in the different ways of leading people representing these two generations.
