The chemiluminescent excitation of the photodynamic effect on the bacterial strains

  • Original language description

We tested the chemiexcitation of the photosensitizers (e.g. ClAlPcS2, ZnPcS2, PcS4, NiPcS4, CuPcS4, eosin B, eosin Y, methylene blue, fluorescein) by energizers (e.g. phthalhydrazide, luminol) at presence of copper (II) and hydrogen peroxide on Gram-positive (Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli). We have studied the dependence of chemiexcited photodynamic effect on the phases of bacterial growth, and a possible cooperative effect of photosensitizers.
