New benzylaminopurine derivatives - monoclonal antibody preparation and immunoaffinity chromatography development
Original language description
Benzylaminopurines naturally occur in plants and exhibit high cytokinin activity. Synthetic compound 6-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylamino)purine riboside (2-OH-3-OCH3-BAPR) structurally also belongs to this group. Surprisingly, we have proved its high cytotoxicity against CEM and HL-60 leukaemia cell lines. To study different aspects of biological activity of this interesting compound in more details, rapid and highly efficient method for its purification from complex samples (blood, plant extracts) is needed. Therefore, we have prepared monoclonal antibodies against 2-OH-3-OCH3-BAPR, which have been subsequently utilized for preparation of immunoaffinity sorbent and columns.
