Changes in the amount of available grapevine DNA during vinification
Original language description
In this paper, we attempted to challenge common view that grapevine DNA is either released in low amounts from grapes or completely lost during vinification. We followed concentration of grapevine DNA by PicoGreen fluorimetry and by quantitative PCR withTaqMan probe in samples obtained during vinifications of wines from four grapevine varieties: white wines Welsh Riesling and Frühroter Veltliner, rosé wine Saint Laurent, and red wine Blaufrankisch. We found that amount of DNA extracted depends on DNA extraction method, grapevine variety, vinification process, and timing of sampling. Based on our data, tens of genome equivalents of grapevine DNA can be extracted from a single wine bottle. Thus, DNA profiling might be possible even from wine

Změny v množství dostupné vinné DNA v průběhu přípravy vína
Czech description
Merili jsme koncentraci DNA v prubehu vinifikace ctyr odrudovych vin (Ryzlink vlassky, Veltlinske cervenerane, Svatovavrinecke, Frankovka) pomoci PicoGreen fluorimetrie a kvantitativni PCR s TaqMan sondou.
