Structurally Perfect Ni3(mý1,3-N3)3 Triangles for a Magnetic Model

  • Original language description

Two ideal triangular Ni3 compounds [Ni3(mý1,3-N3)3(2,2-bpy)3]X3?3H2O(X=ClO4- (1) and BF? 4 (2); 2,2-bpy=2,2-bipyridine) have, for the first time, been structurally and magnetically characterized, and represent a good model for us to understand the magnetic behaviours in extended azide-bridged nickel(II) complexes with trinuclear subunits.
