The paper deals with the topic of internet and traditional information sources usage in mathematics education of elementary school pupils from the gender, residence and age points of view. The method as well as the process and the results of the researchconnected with the issue are described here. The aim of the research was to answer the questions: Do boys use the Internet to interactive study mathematics more than girls? Do the pupils living in the city use the Internet to interactive study mathematics more than the pupils living in the country? Do the older pupils use the Internet to interactive study mathematics more than the younger pupils? Similar questions were formulated for internet, textbooks, journals and other information sources use in mathematics education. Using the statistical Chi-Square test of significance, the hypothesis was accepted that the frequency of pupils using the Internet to interactive mathematical education is statistically significantly lower in the coun
