Original language description
Under the assumptions of the standard Schauder fixed point theorem in infinite dimension space, Felix Browder recognized in 1965 (Duke Math. J. 32 (1965), 575-578) a weak local stability of fixed points which he called non-ejectivity. In our paper, we proved that non-ejectivity is a topological property and, moreover, that it is invariant w.r.t. a radial retraction. Our generalization of Browder's result is applied to the existence of compact invariant set of the Hutchinson-Barnsley operator on Peano'scontinua.
