We investigate a fixed point problem in the Sobolev space (W1,oo([a,b];Rn))^p+1 which is connected to the boundary value problem z'(t)=f(t,z(t)),a.e.t?[a,b]SUBSET OF OR EQUAL TO R, ?(z)=c0, with the state-dependent impulses z(t+)-z(t-)=Ji(t,z(t-)),i=1,MIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS,p, where the impulse instants t?(a, b) are determined as solutions of the equations t=?i(z(t-)),i=1,MIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS,p. We assume that n, p?N, c0?Rn, the vector function f satisfies the Carathéodory conditions on [a,b]xRn, the impulse functions Ji, i = 1,MIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS, p, are continuous on [a,b]xR^n, and the barrier functions ?i,i=1,MIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS,p, are continuous on R^n.
