Original language description
The paper deals with a topical issue of the Comenia Script handwriting offered in Czech schools as an alternative by means of a clause of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic. The research part of the paper includes a quality-based analysis of essays of pupils in grade two of elementary school using the Comenia Script handwriting. The author of the paper attempts to compare the advantages and disadvantages that the Comenia Script model brings to Czech schools.
