Der Artikel befasst sich mit dem Einfluss von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien auf die Bildung von Schülern und Studenten. Es werden die generationsbedingte Unterschiedlichkeit infolge der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien erklärtund die Begriffe "digitale Eingeborene" und "digitale Einwanderer" aufgezeigt. Es wird dargelegt, wie sich die Bildungsumwelt durch den Einfluss moderner Technologien geändert hat und welche Änderungen in dem Bildungsprozess vorzunehmen wären.
