Using this language children can easily work with multimedia and create wide variety of projects as follow – games, animated stories, educational software or videa. In that language Scratch instead of text commands, bratckets and semicolons of the classical programming languages has coloured pieces at its disposal. After the correct connecting it creates a functional programme. The pupil can concentrate much more on understaning the programming principles and solving the problem. The subject matter of this article is a presentation of programming environment of Scratch and possibilities of the development of informatics thinking of the pupils during the learning.
