    The presented monograph is the third in a series of the monographs focused on the level of reading literacy of the primary school pupils in their individual successive years. Its content follows the monograph with the title „Aspekty čtenářství žáků druhého ročníku základní školy“, which was published in 2019. The reading literacy of third-year primary school pupils in connection with the curriculum was assessed in all monitored reading levels in the empirical part of the monograph. The theoretical part of the monograph is supplemented by topics that directly affect the reading literacy of primary school pupils, such as school climate, gender issues at school, but also the influence of a beginning teacher on the development of pupils&apos; reading.
