The paper focuses on the possibilities of using generative artificial intelligence (especiallyLLM) in education and home preparation of primary and secondary school pupils in the CzechRepublic, using the results of the survey Czech Pupils and Artificial Intelligence (2024), whichinvolved over 28,000 respondents from all over the Czech Republic. In our paper, we look atthe differences in the use of AI among primary and secondary school pupils, what activitiespupils use AI for, and what are the more advanced ways of using these tools (in and out ofschool) to increase the effectiveness of education.
