Porcine perilipin gene: sequence, variability and homology analysis
Original language description
In this study, structure and variability of porcine perilipin gene was characterised. Using sequencing, partial sequence including complete exons from 2 to 8 and introns 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 was determined and a number of mutations in coding as well as in non-coding sequences were discovered. A comparative DNA sequence analysis revealed high similarity between exons of our sequence and formerly publicated sequence of pig, human, mouse, rat and cow. The introns appeared to differ significantly between compared species in the level of sequence identity as well as in length.

Prasečí gen perilipin: analýza struktury, variability a homologie
