Improving nutritional quality of the goat milk by grazing
Original language description
The aim of study was to investigate the effect of grazing on nutritional quality as composition, vitamins and fatty acids content of dairy goat milk. The milk from grazed goats had significantly higher fat, protein and total solids non-fat than goats kept indoors. Grazing caused higher concentrations of vitamin A and D3 compared to those fed hay. The grass diet affected significantly increased the rumenic acid and n-3 fatty acids contents in milk.
