Impact of selected paramaters on milk production in Tsigai breed
Original language description
T he objective of our research was t o st udy selected parameters which affect milk product ion. The st udy was performed in t he select ed herd of purebred T sigaiewes (231 animals). Regular milk yield recording was performed during t he morning milking in around t he middle of April, May and June. Milk samples were analyzed for basic milk composit ion (fat , prot ein and lact ose) and somat ic cells count . According t o animals, t he dairy ewes were divided int o t he four groups on t he basis of individual SCC (G1= SCC <100x103cells.ml-1, G2= SCC bet ween 100-400x103cells.ml-1, G3= SCC bet ween 400-700x103cells.ml-1, G4= SCC >106 cells.ml-1t o st udy t he frequency of dist ribut ion of animals in selected group of ewes t hroughout experiment al period. We have not creat ed group wit h SCC bet ween 700-1000x103 cells.ml-1 because there would not be sufficient number of animals. T he average daily milk production in select ed herdof T sigai was 614.51 ml, equivalent t o 95.65 lit ers for a normalized lact at ion. We reached t he highest daily milk product ion in April 779 ml and t he highest content of fat and prot ein in May, while milk product ion was lower by only 30 ml. We conclude t hatt he protein content of milk was over 6% wit hin each division, whet her by order of lact ation, season or somatic cells count, except of June (5.98%). We found a t endency t o lower milk product ion by a higher SCC. Wit h t he increasing SCC decreased lact ose cont ent from 4.66% (G1) t o 4.27% (G4) and t here is a need for performing bact eriological examinat ion in milk.
