The influence of feeding wheat with blue aleurone on intestinal microflora of broilers
Original language description
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of feeding of wheat with blue aleurone layer with higher content of anthocyanins to bodyweight and microbial colonization in gut of broiler chickens. Sixty chickens were divided into two equal groups: Control and Experimental. The experimental group received feed mixture containing 38.2% of wheat with blue aleurone layer "UC 66049" with content of cyaniding-3-glucoside 47.64 mg/kg. Control group received the same amount of common wheat "Vanek" with content of cyaniding-3-glucoside 5.10 mg/kg. The feeding wheat with blue aleurone did not affect bodyweight and gut microbial colonization of broilers.
