Consumer Willingness to Pay for the Organic Wine in the Czech Republic
Original language description
Drawing on the lessons learnt from the empirical work, the objective of this paper is to analyze the premium price that Czech consumers are willing to pay for an organic wine with respect to the price of a conventional wine. The premium price has been analyzed in three segments of consumers, according to their life style (healthy life style, concern about environmental impact of food and concern about health impact of food). The secondary data analysis has been conducted based on contingent valuation study, which permits using a survey and a direct estimation of the premium price that consumers are willing to pay.
