Original language description
The effect of modified atmospheres during cold storage were monitored for 28 days with two sweet cherries varieties ('Vanda' and 'Kordia'). The tree atmospheric variants were CA (controlled atmosphere), ULO (ultra low oxygen), and RA (regular atmosphere). Significant decay reduction was obsarved with ULO and CA.With all three storage variants no off-flavours were detected in the fruit.
