Evaluation of organically grown Chinese broccoli (Brassica oleracea L. var. alboglabra) under the conditions of the Czech Republic
Original language description
Chinese broccoli (Brassica oleracea L. var. alboglabra) is an attractive vegetable in Asian markets. However, this species could potentially succeed under the growing conditions in the Czech Republic. Five cultivars ('Green Lance', 'Happy Rich', 'Hon Tsai Ta', 'Suiho' and 'Summer Jean') were grown in organic open field in Lednice during the year 2008 and 2009.The objective of this study was to evaluate the marketable yield and to compare the content of ascorbic acid.
