Nanotechnology is used in many fields. In food science, it can be practically applied in all areas, including agriculture, food processing, security, packaging, nutrition, and neutraceuticals. AgNPs produced by green synthesis offer many advantages over those produced chemically, especially due to the absence of chemicals used in their preparation, and they can be used in food processing as well as antimicrobial food packaging materials.
