Original language description
Every university, as well as a company or other organization, must pay adequate attention to human resources. At universities, it is also crucial to develop this area with a focus on researchers and academics. For this purpose, the European Commission developed a strategy for the management of human resources in research. Many institutions are currently undergoing the HR Award certificate process. Obtaining it is a matter of prestige for institutions and means increased attractiveness for local and foreign scientists, international recognition or bonus points when applying for grants. The process usually involves analyzing the compliance of the real state of human resource management with the Charter and the Code (see below) and developing an action plan for the implementation of remedial measures.
